About our Elementary
1st & 2nd Grade
Our first and second-grade class aim to create a warm and supportive atmosphere, balancing academics with fun. We continue teaching students math, reading, social studies, and science, while also using these acquired skills for a deeper dive into project based learning.
We are committed to creating a well-rounded learning experience which will allow each child to move at a pace comfortable for them, while also challenging each student to do their best work. Each child will receive personal attention and guidance at all learning levels.
3rd - 5th Grade
In our 3rd - 5th grade class, our students will progress from practicing basic skills to mastery. Grades 3-5 will explore literary elements, student analysis and will begin using writing traits to express individual student experiences and develop researching skills. Our students will use mathematics, which combines problem-based learning and visual learning, to develop student’s mathematical knowledge and understanding in order to meet individual student needs through whole group and small group instruction.
It is in this class project based learning will really shine. With our older learners, we can offer new and exciting challenges and projects where children can delight in their amazing ability to create and learn.
